Each month, a new electric car start-up seems to come out of nowhere proclaiming they have a new concept that will change the world.
Another company has come forward saying it is “redefining the supercar” with its Elextra, a four-door electric supercar that can apparently do the zero-to-62-mph (0-100km/h) sprint in less than 2.3 seconds. Only 100 units of this Swiss-designed and German-built supercar will be produced.
No powertrain details have been released yet, but the supercar has been confirmed as being four-wheel drive. Expect electric motors on each axle and a high-density battery low in the chassis to help keep the center of gravity low.

“The idea behind Elextra is to combine pure lines reminding of the most exciting Italian supercars of the past, whilst being resolutely forward-looking thanks to its low, sleek and beautiful design, paired with today’s most advanced technology,” said designer Robert Palm in a statement.
The production supercar will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the show and will bring your more details about the Elextra when they become available.
