National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) has unveiled its vision of a self-driving car.

Called the NEVS InMotion Concept, it’s the automaker’s vision for a level 5 autonomous vehicle, featuring an interior that adapts for what the passengers need it for. The company says flexibility is a key word for the concept, making it possible for everyone to use it according to their current needs. What makes it different than existing public transportation is that it can be individually adapted, which means comfort in a personal environment.

NEVS envisions a user being able to use an app to set the ambiance on the fly controlling InMotion functionality such as controlling seat movements, lighting ambiance, and environment.

As a concept designed to showcase a personalized mobility solution, the NEVS InMotion Concept features large curb side door for safe convenience, while the seats inside the cabin can be configured in three modes: private, social, and meeting. There’s also individual climate control and wireless charging.

“This design is starting from an interior perspective, with the intention of showing how people can add quality to their lives by filling the time of travelling with value, and not wasting it by being stuck behind the wheel, sometimes for hours just to get across the downtown areas. This is why we are displaying this flexible and very user friendly concept. This is unique compared to others”, says Jonas Hernqvist, Vice President of Sales & Marking at NEVS.
