This Random All-Electric Hypercar from Japan is Debuting in Germany

A new Japanese supercar manufacturer is bringing a wild EV to the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Although there aren’t many details about the hypercar just yet, it is called the Owl and it’s being developed by Aspark in Japan. The Aspark Owl will make its debut in Frankfurt next week, sporting a full carbon fiber body and an electric powertrain.

Power output hasn’t been announced, but the Japanese company is claiming it will go zero-to-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in under two seconds, and it will try to become the quickest-accelerating car in the world.
