Whenever something makes news online, you can bet there will be memes made about it.

Elon Musk had the world’s eyes watching this week as SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon Heavy rocket into space carrying Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster as its payload. SpaceX then posted a live stream from inside the car as it hurtled through the void, titling it ‘Live Views of Starman.’ The stream showed a dummy figure dressed up in SpaceX’s spacesuit casually cruising through space in the electric car as it barreled toward mars, which spawned all sorts of funny memes that were subsequently shared on Twitter.

This isn’t the first time the internet has gotten behind Tesla-related memes. When Musk launched the second-generation Roadster concept alongside the Tesla Semi late last year, one Tesla fan created an infographic comparing it to a Bugatti Chiron. This was, of course, made fun of, as the Chiron is an actual production car and isn’t for the same type of consumer as the Tesla. Soon after, the internet began making memes comparing the new Roadster to everything from a banana to a copy of Shrek the 3rd on Blu-Ray DVD.

What will Musk’s next meme-worthy move be? It’s hard to say, but between selling people flamethrowers and launching a car into space, the South African entrepreneur is acting especially zany lately. And for Musk, that’s really saying something.
