Less than a month after its debut, all units of the Rimac C_Two are nearly spoken for.

Limited to 150 units, head of sales Kreso Coric confirmed to Autocar at the 2018 New York Auto Show that almost all units are sold. It appears its price tag of over $2 million USD (€1.7 million) isn’t causing much hesitation with buyers, especially since they’re averaging an extra $615,000 (€500,000) in options. Unfortunately for them, they will have to wait a bit as production isn’t scheduled to begin until 2020, although the first mules will be built later this year.

The C_Two is the successor to the Concept_One, an electric hypercar that got a bit more famous thanks to Richard Hammond’s fiery crash on The Grand Tour. The C_Two produces an astonishing 1,914 horsepower and 1,696 pound-feet of torque and the company claims it will go zero-to-60 mph in 1.85 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 258 mph. Based on the generous NEDC cycle, it will return 404 miles on a single charge. Helping push performance to the limits are all-wheel torque vectoring and 15.3-inch carbon ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers all around.
