Tesla stores in the state of Ohio are safe… for now.

It was a compromise between the American automaker and the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association, said Senator Scott Oelslager, the committee chairman.

Ohio became the latest state to battle against Tesla’s selling model and the company currently operates two stores, one in Columbus and one in Cincinnati. A third one is planned and will be safe so long as Tesla doesn’t sell the company and continues exclusively producing all-electric vehicles. The legislation will now move to the full Ohio Senate for consideration.
