The Ford Focus Electric is now cheaper than ever.
The American automaker has given its electric vehicle another $6,000 off its price tag, dropping it to $29,995 including destination. That marks a $10,000 reduction in price compared to the Focus Electric’s original MSRP of $39,995 when it first arrived in November 2011. Last July, Ford gave the Focus Electric a $4,000 price cut.

According to Ford, 2014 and 2015 model year Focus Electrics will benefit from the new price and buyers can now pick up the EV from all 50 states as well as Washington, D.C. Even with the price cuts, the Focus Electric has struggled in sales with the American automaker having sold fewer than 4,000 units in its history.
