Tesla is now selling used Model S electric sedans.
The brand quietly launched the service about two weeks ago on its website. There are currently 11 U.S. markets that are served by the Tesla pre-owned sales service: Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Florida, Hawaii, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
Every pre-owned Model S comes with a four year, 50,000 mile limited warranty along with a full inspection and 24-hour roadside assistance. All of the used cars will be made available for pickup, though customers can choose to have them shipped to their nearest Tesla service center for a fee of up to $1,500.

Like with all Tesla vehicles, the pre-owned cars will come directly from the company without involving a car dealer. The number of used cars Tesla has on hand is expected to increase dramatically in the second half of this year when the first batch of Model S three-year leases end.
Pricing for the used Model S sedans ranges from about $65,000 to $105,000 depending on equipment and how many miles are on the car.
