Which all-electric car would YOU rather own, the Fiat 500e or Nissan’s Leaf? Vote in our latest poll!
The Fiat 500e is a spunky hatchback with a torquey electric drivetrain that provides 111 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of peak twist, though it feels A LOT quicker than its numbers suggest. Overall this car returns a highway fuel-economy rating of 108 MPGe, which is pretty fantastic, wouldn’t you agree? This little Fiat is also offered in a wide array of chic colors, like Arancio Electtrico (orange) and Celeste Blu (a retro-inspired light-blue hue).
Design-wise, the Nissan Leaf is a lot more conservative than its Italian counterpart. It’s a lot less exciting to look at but a good bit more functional. With four doors and a real back seat it can actually replace a family sedan. And with a maximum driving range of an advertised 107 miles it’s got decently long legs, too. It features a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor that provides stable of 107 horses.
So, there you go. Which of these small electric car do YOU prefer? Compare them directly right here and please, vote in our poll!
