The Tesla Model 3 will be revealed shortly, but we won’t get to see the full picture.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed on Twitter that we will get to see the Tesla Model 3 clearly when it debuts, but not all of the important elements will be there. This coincides with an earlier report in February when Musk said “I am being a little coy here, we are not gonna show everything about the Model 3 until a lot closer to production time.”

Musk followed up the tweet by saying that the first Model 3 unveil is part 1, while part 2 will take “things to another level” and will be closer to what we can expect with the production model.

Electrek has also reported that the Tesla Model 3 will hit 60 mph from a standstill in under four seconds, although it’s unclear whether that is for the base model or a higher trim with a larger battery and all-wheel drive. The site also estimates that the Model 3 will be available with a battery in the 80-kWh range that will give the sedan over 300 miles of all-electric range.
