The new owners of Fisker are looking to give the brand a new name.
China’s Wanxiang Group, Fisker’s new owner, plans on renaming the company Elux and has delayed the relaunch of the Karma until mid-2016. Wanxiang acquired the assets of Fisker Automotive last year in a U.S. bankruptcy auction and originally planned to revive the brand during 2015.

Sources say that the revived Karma won’t be built in Finland as was the plan and that Wanxiang has not finalized a production site yet. The company plans on pricing the Karma around $135,000, which is nearly 20 percent more than the final price of the original model. It is also believed that the company is investing heavily into updating the Karma’s hardware since much of it is now seven years old.
