Tesla may not be loved by dealerships nationwide, but their owners sure stand by their purchase.
After being voted the most loved car in America last year by Consumer Reports, the electric sedan has now claimed a similar title from market research firm Strategic Vision for two years in a row. Based on the research, an overwhelming 92 percent of Model S owners checked off the “I Love It” box on a two-year review of their ownership experience. Over 534,000 new-vehicle buyers were polled for this result.

What did the Tesla Model S beat out? It appears that green cars are popular with their owners with the Chevrolet Volt placing second among mass-market cars. According to the research, the top six most-loved mass-market cars include the Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Volt, Subaru Impreza, Honda Civic Si sedan, Fiat 500 and Kia Optima. As for the top six mass-market utility vehicles that were most loved, the Jeep Wrangler, Toyota FJ Cruiser, Chevrolet Suburban, Ford Flex, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and Subaru XV Crosstrek all made the list.
